It seems that changing the resolution of the AnyDesk window at the client machine before choosing 'auto-adapt resolution' helps. Various use of either 'cancel' to the ctrl-alt-del, or 'change user' eventually work, but I haven't found a reliable combination that always works. Trying again I am having problems getting the connection consistently. Then under 'display settings' monitor icon choose 'auto-adapt resolution' While it is waiting, under the 'actions' lightning icon choose ctrl+alt+del Looking at other posts I found a combination that worked for me (only found it just a few minutes ago)That is with a monitor connected but turned off I'm not sure it will work completely headless.
